O yes i do love wix and all the fun things you can do with flash.. creating a website or a presentation or document with wix is fun and fast… sometimes I create the presentation in wix and send the link to the client, I find it easier than creating a powerpoint pdf or even an ebook. Biggest bonux create your website free on wix..but I dont think the SEO is so good. But another bonus… you can create a rough in wix and then using the fantastic www.freelancer.com you can give someone a brief to create the proper job…!
Who is not using freelancer.com, I have posted a few jobs and had them done within days while the rest of the businesses locally have been closed for Xmas!

Fulfilment House operational
At last I have the site set up for resellers and distributors garmentmakers.com and we will be launching at the Promata Uniforms & Workwear trade show in March 2011. This is great we are custom manufacturing uniforms, high end uniforms, custom suits, dresses, shirts and blouses. There are so many uniform catalogs and similar styles in all of them but clients what their colours, their cut, and collar etc so custom made uniforms is the best option. Our minimums will be as low as one on some designs and we will dropship direct to your clients. Certainly it is nice to grow your business with sales and marketing and leave production to us and your virtual factory. Our tailors have been making patterns and sewing for over 20 years, all the garments are well structured and stylish.

Fantastic, I have had at least 14 companies from India contact me this week to do my SEO, to write my website, and to update the site. Brilliant they must have a great grasp of my business to do this so well for me.
I will keep testing and training myself and do it myself. It will come together, infact I think it is coming together. A business sort of similar to mine but with limited online presence recently emailed me complaining that when they search google for Byron Bay Embroidery they get Complete Uniform Solutions delivering embroidery to Byron Bay schools, sports clubs and businesses daily!
I am taking this as a compliment that updating and driving my own content and search adwords is working.. o yes I have got the RSS link on here working I believe now for those that want to feed to this web bloggy site.
What I do need to work on is link building apparently.. but I feel like if I clutter my internet site with weblinks I am creating more traffic on the high way and there will be congestion and pollution.. is this too extreme. Does anyone consider the link building to be essential?
Also finding that I am running so many personal projects, juggling work and children and staff!!! and then running so many work projects that the brain needs help. I have searched for lots of different ways to deal with this without expending large amounts of dollars (hello free ware I am a fan) and I think I do like ‘the brain’ currently using the 30 day free trial to track staff christmas party planning and gifts for everyone.
One larger recent project of completely redesigning cricket shirts for the Warratahs a local cricket club started with the simple shirt below and grew to a fully sublimated cricket polo shirt incorporating named collars, more than 20 logos from various suppliers and sponsors. I used ‘the brain’ open source to assist our staff at Complete Uniforms track the stages of the job and client approvals etc. fantastic

In some ways I am wondering if SEO is for dummies cos some dummies email me daily and call me all the time to get me in the first 2 pages or on top of the first page for my business. well uniforms, custom printed tshirts, embroided polos and corporate uniforms, like school wear and sports wear and team uniforms are pretty full with paid advertising and hundreds of companies around the world paying for SEO.
I did spend quite a bit of cash on the old SEO about 18months ago and now it seems I am at the back and need to pay again to get up the front. O really too much, all this pressure to compete and be on the first page for school uniform suppliers.
figure I will try my way a different way, so mixing it up with a little bit of google adwords, a little bit of blog text and a whole lot of radio advertising. Radio is relatively cheap in the rural area our business is located in so it is a good investment and it has proven so. Amazingly it did not so much drive everyone to the website but got them in the car driving to our store!! Hello what better way to close a deal than in person.
the internet opens our stores to the whole world and our services to the whole world but seems that concentrating on some local focus is necessary to drive sales. So SEO should I be investing in this every few months or taking a crack at it myself.. lets just see how this all works. Handy hints on how to get better SEO results, put your site infront of more people and get more online purchases are very very welcome here.

Yay I have found another new thing to add to my list of things about the internet that I like/love.. and what about pixelfish.. www.pixelfish.com. This is a great site to help small business all over the world improve their branding and work with a contract company. What do they do? They make ads for your product. There are standard ads you can purchase, you can edit the text or you can go further and edit the images. Pay a little more and get something done specifically for your business. I am in discussions now with Dave at Pixel and we are working on something for Complete Uniforms specific to printed tshirts and tshirts with numbers and logos. Something to grab the attention of our local touch team market so that we can do them some awesome tshirts at great prices! As soon as it it done I will upload it and add everything to my web favs. page. And by the way still loving dropbox, just a few probs with the iphone apps but we will work it out!
But how mad is that here I am in the hills behind Byron Bay on the laptop and Dave is in some big city in America and together we are collaborating on making a small funky ad which he will work with me to upload into the social media networks and help me drive business to my site! Completely love the internet community!
With such a huge amount of great deals around for interstate Travel I thought it would be great to take 2 of the staff to Coolangatta Airport (o and for a quick day trip to Sydney). Surprisingly enough one had never flown before so the adventure was pretty full-on and fun!
It seems to me that to get the best our of the team you have to give them the best and rewards that are unexpected and fun are really well appreciated. I really appreciate the extra help these two staff members have given me in the last few months and I think they were both pretty thrilled with the days events. After all while we had Breakfast on the Gold Coast, we had lunch in Sydney and dinner in Brisbane!
It was a perfect day to see the Opera House and cruise on the harbour. Sadly I broke my sunglasses and it may be months before we get back. However we checked out the current uniforms that were being worn and know we are more than easily keeping up with the marketplace for design, competitiveness and quality, infact Complete Uniforms leads the way for customised unique quality sports team uniforms and school wear.
With this in mind and a free day for discussion we swapped some tremendous ideas for business growth and product strategy. The day infact was not just a rewards day but a substantially important day for creation of new business initiatives.
My main point from this ‘blog’ is to really let others understand that it is important to recognise staff for their commitment and it is important to have time with staff in a nonwork environment to help develop company strategy.

Okay here I go again Saturday afternoon, kids are eating lunch and I think I will try and update the wordpress theme on our blog. This is what you call juggling your work with motherhood. well tomorrow is all back towork as normal at the retail stores. We will be busy with parents needing to fit out their children with uniforms for 2010 and of course we will be busy co-ordinating our wholesale deliveries to schools. But more importantly we have to plan ahead and plan to keep more orders coming so now we will followup our local sports clubs for their sports team uniforms and apparel etc. But today while working on our ads I got sidetracked with the internet… Does that just happen to everyone and suddenly it is dinner time! Had such a good time though, I have discovered a way to make my own website simply and fun.. so I have created www.wix.com/logosRus/Complete-Uniforms . I know it is long, I am trying to figure out how to link it and how to work it all out but it really was fun to do and quite honestly anyone can do it! Would love some feedback on it as I really did it quickly and lightheartedly but I am pleased as punch with the results.
